Glass Mountain dismantled in a flash of MC luncheon

My co-worker is off sick (how sick? He's in bed with his sister! HAW HAW) so I threw caution to the wind and set about dismantling the somewhat sad Glass Mountain. Two farm towers (melon and pumpkin) are thrust up through it and as it is dwarfed by all around it and since I tidied up that area, it's looks somewhat sad.

Expectations, Early Access and ruining a game before it's finished

Astroneer last night was fun but hitting crash bugs over and over was so very annoying. Big R understandably "fatigue-quitted" over them. We decided to do less land-training and more deep-cave diving for research, and we found it was stable. We got battery research, EMW managed to make a Moon base using the ship as a starting point and I became a ferry pilot to move resources from Terran to the Moon. I got a crash report now and again but it was certainly more fun. [Big R - I found the land train and your stuff and returned it safely to base].

Fortnite might make a good weekend game at some point

Still in early access but supposedly pretty solid and from Epic mega games who sort of know how to make multiplayer games

A 4 player coop game of two halves part one in the day you scavenge materials and build a fort make weapons and traps then part 2 night comes and you repel a horde style attack filled with monsters.

It has four different classes that have different play styles

so minecraft crossed with L4D running in unreal 4 and featuring overwatch style loot boxes

It's like GTA crossed with Magic the gathering and a little MS Encarta and other inaccurate descriptions

Was playing this interesting pre pre pre alpha game off of itch.io called Autonauts.

It was described as Factorio meets Minecraft. Two games I really enjoy but the description was misleading. It could be better described as Factorio with vaguely 3d graphics and a pseudo voxel/minecraft art style.

Factorio is all 2d and sprite graphics the game play in all in the 2d plane. Autonauts has 3d graphics but the gameplay is still just 2d.

Windows Tablet Games and Apps

So, 5 days into what will probably be 6 weeks without my primary hand, and I'm finding it a quite frustrating experience. I can't write, use a mouse (other than club-handed in my right hand), and a myriad of other common actions that you typically use both hands for (cutting up food being one. Fortunately most of my shoes have elastic laces...)

In order to try and get a modicum of productivity going, I've picked up a cheap Windows tablet PC

Revenger 55

Been looking for a small quad brushless quad for a while more power than a tiny whoop with proper brushless motors something like 2s power but still small and safe enough I feel happy flying it inside and around people.

There used to be a nice quiet area near the old office where I could get some flight time in but it's now pretty far away and also on the property of another company. So I've been keeping a look out. \

My Adventure in Kenshi - where I spend a lot of time beaten unconcious

I picked up this early access game called Kenshi which I had seen floating around a single player sandbox rpg survival game. Rockpapershotgun did a thing on it and it intrigued me so I gave it a go and found it a combination of compelling and frustrating.

It's one of these open ended affairs where you can do a lot of things and like those games it suffers from throwing you in the deep end. It has some ingame tutorials but they often miss out whole swathes of information.
